Where does the money come from?

- Nothing else here is for sale to you. We do not sell tax advice, preparation or filing, and we are not a government site.
What does advertising change?
Nothing in a calculator result, a rate or a date. Ads are kept out of calculators and tables, and we do not take payment to change what a page says about a rate or a rule.
How do we choose what to write?
We write from the questions people ask about Canadian tax and from official sources such as the CRA and the provinces. Every figure links to its source, and the rate checking page explains how we check them.
What if you find a mistake?
Tell us on the contact page. Our corrections policy says how we deal with errors.
